23. Cuteness Overload

Last time on the Maloneys, the ghost triggered a fire, Mance aged up and Loras’ IF, Lancel, was made real.

So, Abby is on a mission to “Just Be Friends” with all her RI. Dante (father of Frankie and Felix) first, since he’s closest.

Well, that was uneventful. I guess he figured it out, since she hasn’t seen him for many weeks.

Since Abby has just received an opportunity to “Share Cooking Tips” with Sonic Lightning (father of Loras), we’ll break up with him next. After we share the tips, of course.

Olivia Goth insists on being part of this conversation.

Well, that’s more of what I was expecting from Dante. And I freaking love how Olivia just floated over and stood there looking right at the now-ex-couple – ever heard of personal space, Olivia?

Irri got married!

One of Mance’s first actions as a child? To booby trap Abby’s toilet. Maybe he is evil…

Mance’s first day of school! I will never understand why we only see three kids on the bus – would it have been that hard to put in a few more spots? It looks so empty, and half the kids (Loras and Jaqen in this photo) end up in the trunk.

Weird, because two chapters ago I was contemplating the mailman for a baby daddy. Don’t think I’d go with a faceless one, though.

It’s a girl! Her name is Nymeria, after Arya’s direwolf (who was herself named after a legendary warrior woman). I was so hoping baby N would be a girl, so I could use this name.
She’s Brave and Loves the Outdoors.
Favourites: Soul (like Loras), Goopy Carbonara, Blue.

Birthdays!

The majority of the family come to celebrate; no idea where Loras is, though.

He has Duncan’s eye colour and shape and skintone. His nose is in between Duncan’s and Abby’s, as is his jawline – he seems to have Duncan’s squarer jaw but Abby’s prominent chin.

LTW: Five-Star Chef
She has Duncan’s eye colour and shape, and skintone, obviously, but everything else is Abby. She’s so pretty, one of my favourites (so far).

As usual, Abby rolls the wish for one (in this case, Jaqen) to be a scientist. I don’t know why she has such a thing for scientists. In other games, I’ve had parents wishing their offspring be doctors or join them in their career. Abby only wants scientists. Since Jaqen’s LTW is to top the Military career, we’re not locking that in. She does want to see Jeyne get married – that will get locked in.

Tomorrow is Friday, so they can graduate then.

But first…this is Kathryn Morris, Jeyne’s RI from prom. We’re going to see how much they like one another. She’s not bad looking, a bit of a large nose, but that’s ok (better than Face One).

Great, she Dislikes Children and she’s Commitment Phobic. That’s going to make this much harder…

Aaaand Jayne doesn’t find her attractive. Okay, we’re not going to age her up for a wedding, then.
Geez, I’m really slack on finding the kids partners, aren’t I? Only Georgia, Frankie and Ben have had significant others before moving out – and Ben hardly counts, since all of his interactions with Raven were done the night he turned YA. Good thing I have nraas Story Progression, that keeps the kids moving – Davy has been married to Liang Creeper for ages, and Alexis married Amy’s ex boyfriend and they had four kids together!

Haha, Jeyne was voted Most Likely to Get Arrested! I missed Jaqen’s popup, but he was Class Valedictorian and voted Most Likely to Never Leave the House.

As always, everyone is starving by the time graduation is finished. Abby takes them to the diner – which we now own, so eating there is free.
I do not understand why they always go to graduation in a taxi – it’s no bigger than Abby’s Prius!

Lols, Abby is still using the hoverboard windcarver instead of walking – it means she gains Advanced Tech experience all the time, which is fine by me!

And of course, when I tell everyone to go home, they go individually. The kids ride their bikes, Jaqen drives the Prius and Jayne catches a taxi with Nymeria. EA Coding fail, once again.

Instead of going home, Abby continues her quest to Just Be Friends with her RIs. Next up is Audio Science Creeper (father of Nymeria). Hey, he got old!

He doesn’t take it well.

And just after breaking up with him, Abby rolls this wish. *facepalm* No!

Jaqen calls to move himself and Jeyne out of home, but before that happens…

It’s Loras’ birthday! He’s been out collecting butterflies in the rain, thus the dark pictures.

And if it’s Loras’ birthday, that means it’s also Lancel’s!

Loras rolled Never Nude. Again, I’m dressing him by his couch potato trait – comfy clothes.

Lancel rolls Eccentric. Sounds like we may need an Inventing table. I chose ITF clothes for him, coz why not – I don’t get to use them often. And I left his crazy eyebrows – they suit him.

Abby has also broken up with Cristiano (father of Harley). He didn’t take it well, either.

And now that the birthdays are out of the way, it’s time to say goodbye to our green twins. At least we now have teens to help Abby with Nymeria.

Since it’s now spring and the ponds have thawed, Abby is off the graveyard looking for deathfish. Yeah, I could buy her an Age Freeze potion as a LTR, but this is more fun.

The IFs are still here, as is the booby trap that Frankie set. Frankie is now an Adult, btw.

Big brother Loras helps out with Nymeria.

Abby takes Lancel driving while Loras is out looking for butterflies. So a babysitter is hired to look after Nymeria.

Her name is Anissa Bermudez, and she’s pretty cute! She heartfarted over Loras when she came in, so maybe we’ll try to hook them up.

Where better to find butterflies than the Arboretum?

Anissa is a good babysitter, feeding Nymeria the minute she started crying.

Jeyne moved in with her much older sister…who I don’t think she ever met.

And Jaqen moved in with Irri and her new husband, Dayvid.

I’m a sucker for punishment. This is Mance’s IF, Margarey. Yes, this one’s a girl. Intended to hook up with Mance later.

We sold the evil Jelly Bean Bush, and bought an Inventing table for Lancel.

Margarey and Mance are playing tag in the rain, next to the unrendered gnomes.

That’s better. Hey, Anna-gnome got old!

Why is the baby on the floor?

Oh, it’s her birthday! That’s okay then.

She got Audio’s hair! And Abby’s eyes. And she aged up into this, so I left her in it – too cute! (ITF age conversion by Quizicalgin)

Abby? Alexis is already an elder. I think the next “birthday” is called death.

Abby has completed the Electrician Skill Challenge. Now only the Tinkerer one to go.

Jaqen is dating a girl named Eva Field.

Today Abby will teach Loras how to drive.

Wait, no, now Jaqen is dating Janet Pok. Damn immortal vampires – Janet is the sister of Curtis Pok, who Aidan dated way back when.

After only an hour or so of inventing, Lancel knows what he wants to do with his life. Awesome.
And I just realised that this LTW has nothing to do with Inventing. Oh well.

Blizzard Puff isn’t having any of Abby’s flirts… And then he leaves before we can fix it. So he’s not going to be the father of baby O. (and it’s not until I’m typing this up that I remember Blizzard is gay, he’s dating Harley. Maybe that’s why Abby has no luck)

Abby has rolled this wish. So we’re going to try and fulfil that.

This is “her” alien, Qedef Shukepoj (aka, the one who abducted her a few chapters ago). He’s a Virgo, which will fill another one of our Zodiac slots.

The couch romantic actions are cute, I should do these more. I always loved the couch romance in TS2, and these are just as good.

Abby gave Mance the potion she made, we’re going to turn Margarey real!

And she’s really cute, if a little Face One.

I didn’t bother writing down her traits, though I know one is Unlucky. She likes Violet, which will go well with the Irish Green that Mance likes.
I adjusted her looks a little, just to take away some of the face one-ness (jawline and nose mainly).

And I’m bored with Abby’s job – she only works 3 days a week, for 6 hours at a time. That’s nothing. We got the reward for topping the career – even though I already have a buyable one – so she’ll look at something else. She is going to be around for a long time, so why not max out a whole bunch of careers? Since someone needs to be home to look after the babies and toddlers, it will have to be something done afternoon/night. So why not the Criminal Career? Abby hasn’t done much with athletic skills as yet, anyway.

This is Maribel Slymer, the daughter of Violet Slymer (fire ghost in Moonlight Falls) and Dante Morganthe (Felix and Frankie’s father). Apparently Violet had purple skin and blue hair before she became a ghost. Maribel inherited her father’s square jaw, though.

I sent Abby to the library to look for a job, and look who’s here! It’s Pip Goodfellow. I’ve been wanting to introduce him to Abby for a long time. They heart fart, as most sims do with Abby.

He’s obviously a fairy and he has pointy ears! He’s a Libra, which we already have, and in the Medical career, which we don’t. Though his lips are huge, and his hair/eyes boring. So maybe.

So she romances him, but we’re not sure about the alien baby yet, so no woohoo.

While everyone else sleeps, Nymeria teaches herself to talk.

It’s been a while since we had cute toddler spam, so here:

On her way home from her first day as a Criminal, Abby pops. Baby O! She wishes for a boy.

Loras got a love letter back from Anissa Bermudez. She likes him, too! The only issue is that she’s a baby sitter, and keeps glitching when he tries to ask her over to get her up to RI. And she keeps appearing as invisible in his relationship panel, also.

Aww, Abby likes Pip, she rolled these two wishes almost simultaneously.

Ohno! A burglar! Good thing Brave Lancel is around. Except all he did was wakeup! No option to tackle the burglar.

I had to manually get him to call the cops, and by then it was too late.

So now everyone in the house has this annoying moodlet. They took our cool new holographic TV.

The burglar prompts both Lancel and Mance to roll the International Super Spy LTW. I thought it was hilarious that Mance, the evil one, wants to be a cop. I locked it in for Lancel (as you can see in the above picture).
